The Triangle Leisure Centre

I took my 8-year-old son and his friend swimming staff were friendly and if you book online there's no hassle. We stayed for 4 hours. Got to drink coffee on the way out. Parking was an issue, but other than that overall good experience. There is lots to offer here including racket, sports and hall rental.

Soft play review - First time taking my 2 year old today. Never again! Was not what I'd expect of a soft play inside a leisure centre. Very, very, small softplay. 3 tiers but inside a very narrow, small room, with literally nothing for under 2's as you'd expect on the ground level, bar one tiny ball bit. One spiral slide that isn't easy to get to, if having to take up a 2 year old who isn't a great climber yet. Waaay too many kids for a small area, and didn't like the fact a lot of them just got let loose whilst parents sat in Costa outside the soft play door.. all well and good if your kids play nice - not all do, and absolutely none of them were considerate of toddlers around.. oh and talking of the entrance to the soft play - which isn't monitored by a staff member, it can be opened with the push of a button by anyone inside, so you literally cannot take your eyes off your toddler incase other kids open the door and they made a run for it! The price was pretty steep for what it is - I can get 2 adults and both my kids (admittedly one is a baby but still) into the treasure island soft play in Eastbourne for a few quid less than what I paid for just me and my toddler today, I felt completely ripped off, bearing in mind there was quite literally nothing for her to really do apart from run up and down the length of the room and climb on a few soft blocks, and play with the balls in the tiny ball pit (which she can do at home - whole point of bringing her to a softplay is to be able to do more!) Absolutely shocked on the price, the fact it was so small with nothing for under 2s, the layout and design and clearly no want to improve it, and the fact it wasn't monitored by any staff. Will not be coming back. Considered after witnessing the pool on exiting, to come back and bring my daughter swimming rather than waste anymore money on the rubbish softplay, but after seeing the reviews on it being unclean, cold, and poorly maintained, I will look elsewhere! Shame because it's one of the very few places close to home to bring our kids, and in this expensive day and age, it's a shame we have to go so far afield to do things with them, but there's absolutely nothing worthwhile for kids to do in Haywards Heath or Burgess Hill.

I am a full member. The pool has been closed repeatedly, the jacuzzi and steam room have been out of order for months, the showers have been out of order and/or too hot to use. I have asked for compensation or a refund on my monthly payments and have been told they will not repay anything. In fact they have increased the membership fee. It is absolutely disgusting and shows a total lack of respect and appreciation of their customers. If you are thinking of joining, be warned.
