Penny was recommended to me as a very experienced physiotherapist who might be able to get to the bottom of my complex hip and pelvic symptoms. Symptoms have been ongoing for over a year and were not really responding to my previous management strategies. As a retired muscle skeletal physiotherapist myself I was particularly impressed with Pennys thorough assessment, knowledge of the subject, clear explanation and treatment plan, that we will work through together in order to reduce my symptoms and improve my quality of life. It is early days yet but I feel optimistic that with her rehab guidance, manual therapy and acupuncture techniques I can finally move forward, although am fully aware that it will take time and effort from me to achieve those results.

We are the premier racket sports venue in the North East of England with an onsite Pavilion which houses an array of group fitness activities. The Northumberland Club is going from strength to strength and building on our major racket sports presence in the North East. Our gym refurb is planned for completion on the 22nd December 2017 and this will be a new state-of-the-art gym, including a functional training zone, lifting platform, state of the art resistance machines, wide range of cardiovascular equipment, free weights area and group training.

Carol is excellent. I had seen her previously for a minor adductor tear ( groin strain). The massage, needling and strength exercises she gave me supported a rapid and complete recovery. More recently the arthritis in my hips has been getting worse and I've been feeling down about it as it was curtailing my normally very active and healthy lifestyle (yoga, rock climbing, mountaineering). I had become less active and was in a downward spiral, feeling much older than my 59 years all of a sudden . Carol has lifted me out of that with a programme of exercises to strengthen and better support my hip joints, giving me greater stability and resilience. It's early days but I'm feeling much stronger and more positive and returning to yoga and climbing this week. 😊
