Hopefully this will be seen as a balanced review. I think as it was the first big indoor facility in the area, it has been reviewed favourably as it was almost a novelty. On the plus side, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is excellent. From a Padel perspective, once you move past beginner level you are limited from playing high lobs due to the ceiling height. The courts are uneven in places (I believe they are due to re-lay them which should help) maybe in part due to the flooding they experienced and the lights, in my opinion, are placed too low and frequently dazzle you when playing overheads, compared to other venues. Also (maybe personal taste) the very black colour scheme feels oppressive. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain their quite high prices with the new competition of their South Leeds venue and also the new courts at Optimum Padel.

Slazenger Padel Club in Leeds is an outstanding venue for players of all levels. With 12 courts and a huge viewing area, it’s perfect for both playing and spectating. There are plenty of opportunities to join games at different levels, making it easy to find the right match. Parking is never a problem, and the wonderful staff truly go the extra mile to make every visit enjoyable.

Fantastic facility! Really good courts, clean and well equipped changing rooms. Nice seating area with a nice bar. The addition of a couple of table tennis tables and the warm up area really make a difference. Can't wait to come back!
