Hugely impressive golf course and club setup. We played the 6-hole academy first in the morning which exceeded my expectations - thought it would be a pitch and putt but was so much better than that, greens were to the same standard as the 18. Had a delightful breakfast afterwards in the clubhouse which is lovely and modern, a really welcoming design. Food and service were both top notch. We then played the full 18 in the afternoon and it is a stunning course that looked fantastic with the autumnal backdrop. The greens are challenging - nearly all of them were undulating and I can imagine in the summer these would be even more punishing! My only gripe is that perhaps one or two flatter greens would make achieving a GIR feel more realistic as it did feel excessive at times. The two other things I’d highlight regarding the course itself are the lack of signage around tee boxes - for a visitor it is not always intuitive as to where you’re going next. I think the tees would also benefit from a sign that outlines the hole layout and yardage. One thing that I was underwhelmed by is the website: I was surprised to see that such a prestigious venue lacks any form of hole-by-hole flyover or even course breakdown at all! In my opinion, such information should never be a mystery to prospective visitors. Nonetheless, the quality of the course itself and the clubhouse and facilities were such that this is still firmly a 5* - highly recommend. Another nice touch was the Club (Secretary? Manager? I didn’t quite see on the name badge!) coming over to ask us how we found the course after we’d finished.

Best course around Norwich. Really good short game area and driving range. Staff are friendly, club house is super modern and clean
