Had a good session early morning on a weekend. Plenty of parking spaces, toilets and changing rooms were clean. The courts did seem a little squashed together in comparison to the Ilford site. Staff were friendly and had lots of fun. Will return again. Thanks!

I genuinely regret booking a court here, and frankly, I regret supporting this establishment at all. "Rocket Padel" promises a premium athletic experience but delivers nothing but frustration, neglect, and a clear signal that management prioritizes quick cash over community value. The practical problems are bad enough: the courts are severely undermaintained. The signature glass walls are permanently smeared, making boundary calls messy. The playing surface is patchy, with uneven sand distribution and areas where the turf seams are frayed—a genuine trip hazard for the exorbitant prices they charge. We also experienced the usual booking debacle, waiting 15 minutes because the staff can't enforce their own court-time rules. A Disappointing Land Grab and Misuse of Public Funds The most offensive aspect of this venture is what they sacrificed to build this mediocre facility. This Padel club was established by disestablishing the dedicated children's gymnastics club that previously occupied the space. This former facility was not just a local club—it was a publicly funded community asset, built using dedicated grants from UK Sport and the UK National Lottery. Management has essentially ripped out a community resource, specifically intended for youth health and accessible activities, and replaced it with a handful of expensive, poorly maintained private courts. The move shows an astonishing lack of respect for public investment and local needs. It’s a short-sighted business decision that has actively taken away from the local community to profit from an inadequate commercial substitute. If you are looking for a place that values its customers or the neighborhood it operates in, look elsewhere. This club is a massive rip-off and a disgrace to local sporting facilities.
