Tried rearranging because of Storm Amy but the staff on the phone were rude and completely unhelpful. Was told the courts had drainage and would be fine - they weren’t. They refused to even send a quick video before I travelled down, and when I got there the court was fully clogged, soaked through, and covered in leaves and rubbish (which seems to be a regular issue). Honestly just poor customer service all round. If you’re paying for a decent game, you’d at least expect the place to be safe and playable, not flooded and ignored. Edit to add: As soon as we arrived, we paid extra for fresh balls and showed the staff that within a minute they became completely waterlogged because of the amount of water on the court, which made it clearly unplayable. Despite that, you still decided it was “playable” when it obviously wasn’t. You also haven’t mentioned how filthy the court was, covered in leaves and rubbish. I’ve been to the courts multiple times and there are always leaves all over, so this isn’t a one-off. We even asked for tissues after the heavy rain and were denied, which just added to the frustration after an already sub-par court experience. The staff weren’t being reasonable at all, and when we pointed this out they became rude instead of trying to help. While we were there, we didn’t see anyone playing during our booking or even in the hour after, which says enough about how “playable” the courts actually were.

Great venue, even during the rain. Court was alright, the lights are blinding a little bit, but what can you do?!

Went to Padel & Co in Batley for the first time and honestly, I wouldn’t go back even if it was free. Tried to cancel because of the heavy rain but the courts were slippery and just not safe to play on. The ball barely even bounced properly, but the staff kept saying it was “fine” and “normal.” We ended up stopping halfway through because it just wasn’t playable. On top of that, the customer service was awful. I asked for a tissue politely and got a rude reply saying “what’s that gonna do?” Well then, you should keep some towels. And to make things worse, I’ve now got an email saying I’ve been banned (along with everyone else who played) for something that was completely out of our control. Honestly just a terrible experience all round. Would give it 0 stars if Google gave the option. Edit to add: Would love to see the cctv footage your on about especially at the end of our game. Also your staff agreed with us that we could play an hour from when we started (as he was too busy showing us that it was fine to play by throwing a ball against the ground with force which is obviously going to bounce back at you😂.) Anyways would definitely not recommend.
