Gemma Basset provided a tour of the club. She was polite, welcoming and explained all the facilities well. She explained the membership options clearly and i was able to make an educated decision about the membership today. Gemma was not pushy and patiently answered my questions and time to process the memebership options. Will happily recommend Gemma. The facilities have been upgraded and the club has somw spanky new equipment with AI capability!

I recently joined David Lloyd Southampton (West End) and had a great experience. The club is clean, well laid out, and has excellent facilities. Will, who showed me around, was brilliant — extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions clearly, and really knew his stuff, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. I’d also highly recommend Julie, the sports massage therapist. She’s professional, skilled, and takes the time to understand what you need — the treatment made a real difference. Overall, a very positive impression and a great team. Highly recommended.

Gym, swim, spa and stress! The facility’s are lovely, nice new gym with great equipment (when there isn’t a group of kids surrounding it) it’s very very busy most the time. It seriously needs to be staffed and a scanner so you have to scan your membership to get in or something. My partner wont go in there alone anymore as she feels intimidated by the groups. Club room is really nice, chilled out having a latte in there a few times. The spa is really nice but can be sooo busy. People obviously are wearing out door sliders/flip flops in as the floors in the rooms can be quite muddy. The pool is great my daughters enjoy it. The changing rooms…well…..disgustingly dirty! The car party is more like destruction derby with people leaving their cars wherever they feel like it. The club is clearly over subbed with more and more members joining. I’m paying a premium price (platinum memberships) for me and my family but we feel it’s not worth it and I doubt we will renew which is a shame as it is a nice place just let down but certain things. Ellie (I think her name is) on reception is a very bright girl who always does her best and is a shining star at the club.
