After 8 months as a member at David Lloyd Leisure, I feel like I can give a proper, balanced review. I mainly attend Blaze and Rhythm classes several times a week, and they’ve honestly been the highlight of my membership. Blaze is consistently challenging, well-structured, and a great mix of cardio and strength — I always leave feeling like I’ve had a proper workout. The trainers bring high energy and keep the sessions engaging, which makes a big difference on those days when motivation is low. Rhythm is just as enjoyable — fun, upbeat, and a brilliant way to build fitness without it feeling like a chore. The music and atmosphere really make it. The spa facilities are another big reason I’ve stayed. Having access to the sauna, steam room, and relaxation areas after a tough session feels like a real luxury and makes the gym experience more than just a workout. It’s become part of my routine to unwind there after classes, and it definitely adds value to the membership. The club is generally clean and well-maintained, and the timetable offers enough variety to keep things interesting. At peak times it can get busy (especially popular classes), but booking through the app makes it manageable if you plan ahead. Overall, 8 months in, I’m still using the club consistently — which says a lot. For me, the combination of high-quality classes and spa facilities makes it feel more like a wellness space than just a gym. If you’re someone who enjoys instructor-led training and making recovery part of your routine, it’s definitely worth considering.

I recently visited David Lloyd as a guest to use the spa facilities and had a really lovely experience. The spa area was calm, spotless, and beautifully maintained. I especially enjoyed the sauna and steam room, and the pool area had a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to fully relax. The changing rooms were spacious and well equipped, which added to the premium feel. A special mention goes to Jess Nock, who truly went above and beyond. She was welcoming, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed, which really enhanced my visit. Overall, it felt like a mini luxury escape, and I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. I’d definitely recommend the spa facilities to anyone looking for a high-quality experience.

Great club, Kendall is the best swimming teacher and improved my sons swimming significantly which has been amazing to watch. One issue which would be great to be resolved is the restaurant. I no longer eat there as had issues every time I ordered so don’t bother anymore. I kept raising this and promised changes would happen but nothing did so less stressful to eat somewhere else. That being said, whole club is very clean which is important to me, and kids club staff are absolutely amazing.
